Cheapest and best Ryobi weed eater on the net? Look no further.

If you’ve been looking for a weed eater to get rid of those pesky weeds, then you probably have heard that Ryobi weed eaters are up there with the best. And you wouldn’t be wrong. Their build quality is great and is known for getting the job done. The problem is, there is a LOT that you can buy which don’t even come with a supplied battery or charging kit – you would have to buy them separately, setting you back even more money!

So today, I am going to be reviewing the cheapest FULL Ryobi weed eater package I could find with a few cheaper alternatives in there if you’re looking for something a little cheaper.

Ryobi One+ 18-Volt Lithium-ion Cordless Electric String Trimmer and Edger

The Ryobi one+ 18-volt model is a cracking piece of kit for the price. Just off looks alone, this piece of machinery wouldn’t look out of place in any tool assortment – high or low end. The premium color scheme and finishing makes this something you would be proud to be seen using.

Coming in at $81 brand new , it doesn’t exactly break the bank either for a Ryobi weed eater

Now, down to the nitty gritty, the bit you’ve come here to see. Is it actually worth the money? For me, absolutely! But it can depend on what you’re after in a string trimmer. Coming in at 18-volts, it isn’t the most powerful tool that Ryobi have to offer. But unless you’re doing some very heavy duty weed wacking, this shouldn’t be an issue. If a lot more power is what you’re after, then this might just be what you’re looking for

With the smaller 18-volt battery size, comes a smaller model in general. Weighing in at 4 pounds and measuring up at just under 30 inches in height. This compact weed eater will be able to fit in even the messiest garage.  The smaller, lighter frame also means that it can be used by all people. For those smaller folk, you won’t be blown away by the sheer power and it won’t be a burdon to move around your garden if you have a fair bit to get through.

Continuing on the battery front, it will probably last you around 45 minutes of solid use. For some that may be absolutely perfect, for others with a bigger garden, too short. For those people, you can pick up an extra battery here to allow you to be able to complete the job in one go.

For the average gardener, this Robi weed eater is absolutely perfect. Easy to manage and store and will get through your gardening tasks without any issue.

For those wanting a little bit more.

Ryobi One ONE+ 18-Volt Lithium-Ion String Trimmer/Edger and Blower Combo Kit 2.0 Ah Battery and Charger Included

This package includes a Ryobi leaf blower and a Ryobi Weed eater. Separately these would both retail for $150+. In this package, you are getting both, albeit certified refurbished (means a return when people don’t want the product), for $126.97!! An absolute bargain if you’re looking for a complete garden cleaning package and are interested in getting a Ryobi leaf blower too.

For those looking for something a little cheaper…

Greenworks 13-Inch 4 Amp Corded String Trimmer

Following on from the Ryobi weed eater earlier in the article. This lightweight Greenworks trimmer will also do the job in your garden. Although it is corded, it is still a lightweight and portable option when looking to tidy up your garden.

The big selling point of this is the price! Being $31 it can allow even the casual gardener to purchase a weed whacker without busting the bank. With quick delivery and great reviews, if you’re looking not to break the bank but would like to give this tool a go, then give this Greenworks trimmer a go.

And there we go. 3 trimmers at 3 different price points. I hope you found something useful in this article, if you would like to see anything else reviewed in the future then make sure you leave a comment down below!
